Welcome to my little collection of experiments. While I, ranman, am a seasoned Software Engineer with close to 20 years of experience under my belt (I may soon need a new belt) I am but a budding web designer just beginning to cut my teeth on this monolithic time sink we lovingly call "The Web".

Here you'll find my little experiments and what-nots designed to exercise what little grey matter I have to devote to this genre. Each link to the left is a self-imposed assignment with little more socially redeeming value than to give one engineer a means of expression and a direction of mind.

My 'web' work has been almost exclusively penned under the RedHat Linux OS, using simple text and graphic editing tools. HTML, JavaScript and Perl are exhibited in most exercises, with a bit of 'C' (my native tongue) helping to truss the CAD experiment. Java and some of the 'DHTML' concepts will be appearing here soon.
