The basic concept is really quite simple. You roll two dice, sum the total of values rolled and drop pegs for that total. For example; if you roll a 5 and a 3 then you are working with a value of 8. The following list shows the possible peg combinations available for this roll...
8, 7 + 1, 6 + 2, 5 + 3, 5 + 2 + 1, 4 + 3 + 1
Once a peg has been used, however, it may not be used again.
The object - if you haven't already guessed it - is to use up ALL of the pegs.
To roll the dice simply click the
button. The longer you hold the
button down, the longer you 'rattle' the dice before throwing them. When you
release the button the dice are thrown.
Note that if the highest possible number for the remaining pegs is less than 7 then you'll only throw one die.
Once the dice are thrown you may drop the desired pegs by clicking on them. You
can un-select a dropped peg by clicking it again - but only if you dropped that
peg durring the current turn. Once you've dropped enough pegs to match the
currently rolled value the
button will re-appear so that you can
go ahead with your next turn.
If you roll a value that cannot be made with the remaining pegs then your game
is over. The
botton appears in place of the
button
in this event. To play again simply click the
button.
Sound: Unless your browser is equipped with an ancient Java plug-in you
should be able to hear the sounds built into the game (assuming your computer
has a sound card and speakers). The button in the lower-left corner of the
game board is provided to

Disableing the sound can make it less obvious that you are playing a game at the office. ;)
